Dear Riverside Little League Community,

I can’t believe it is time to register for the 2017 Riverside Little League season.  Seems that just days ago we were enjoying a beautiful day at Indian Gardens enjoying the 4th of July All Star Games and Baseball and Softball Contests and the tremendous run to the state championships for our 10 & 11 year old Baseball Team.
I love Riverside Little League – so much that I am in the second year of my second term as President while beginning my 13th year on the Board.  So much that I have not had a child play since 2011.  Very glad to be very involved in what is Riverside’s largest youth program.

Riverside Little League has teams for 5 through 14 year olds.  This year, I also want to remind everybody of our Junior Baseball and Softball programs.  These programs are for players who are league age 13 and 14. This is for those who want to continue playing after the Major level and play baseball with their friends.

2017 Tee Ball, Pee Wee, Baseball and Softball fees remain the same as they did in 2016.  Our many sponsors help greatly to keep our fees down.  Register at www.riversidell.com.

I encourage you not only to register your children to play, but also for you as parents to register to coach and/or volunteer for the 2017 season.  Just a reminder that 2016 Managers and Coaches are not guaranteed a similar position as, per Little League International by-laws, each appointment is for one season only.  You must reapply each year.
Very few community programs have been as constant and successful over the generations as Little League, so please join us in this wonderful Riverside family tradition. On behalf of the 2017 Riverside Little League Board of Directors, we look forward to seeing you at the ballpark!
