Riverside Little League Families:

I can’t believe another Riverside Little League Season is almost here.  On line registration is OPEN and ends on Saturday, January 31st.

Little League continues to be a wonderful way to build a sense of community within our village.  I would encourage all Riverside families with boys and girls ages 5-14 who live in or attend school in Riverside to participate in Little League this year.  The community pride we experienced at last year’s 9- and 10-year old boys district and sectional playoffs was wonderful.  In fact I saw great support for all of our teams throughout the year.  It is so nice to pass by Big Ball Park on a weeknight and see so many families watching a girl’s softball game or Harrington for a Pee Wee baseball game.

This year the board will continue to strive toward improving the fields and the Little League experience in general.   Our goal is to do our best to ensure that every kid, no matter what his or her skill level, has a great Little League experience in 2015.

The board and I look forward to seeing you on the baseball and softball fields this year.

Thanks,

Michael Gentile, Jr.
President
